 Biography

Dr Rakesh Garg, MD, DNB, PGCCHM, MNAMS, FCCS is a Anesthesiologist, Intensivist and Pain Physician. He is Assistant Professor at Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care, Pain and Palliative care at Dr BRAIRCH, All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi, India. He graduated from University College of Medical Sciences (Delhi University) and got his MD Anesthesiology from Maulana Azad Medical College (Delhi University). He got his further training from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Thereafter he joined Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital as Assistant Professor. Later on, he joined as Assistant Professor at All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi, India. He has over 190 National and International Publication. He has delivered over 60 guest lectures at various National and International Conferences/CMEs/Workshops. He has conducted over 40 workshops in this field. He presently, apart from Anesthesiology services, is involved in Pain medicine management of cancer patients. He has special interest in teaching and research activities. He is involved in regional analgesia for both acute and chronic pain.

 Research Interest

Dr Rakesh Garg has special interest in Research including regional anaesthesia techniques for acute and chronic pain. These involve various drug and drugs delivery systems.
