Dr. Hedayat Hosseini is currently working as a full professor of Food Safety and Food Microbiology at Shahid Beheshti Medical Science University, Faculty of Nutrition and Food technology and National Nutrition & Food Technology Research Institute from 2009. His current research works include Molecular Food Microbiology, Food Safety and Application of natural preservatives in food products and packaging. Dr. Hedayat Hosseini has elected as Board Member, of the Food Science and Food Safety of Ministry of Health since 2014. He had some joint project and collaboration with WHO and FAO as a principle project investigator for research on developing Food Safety Systems. He is an honorary editorial board member of some professional Journals such as Applied Food Biotechnology. His Professional Societies include Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (APCBEES), International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) and Iranian Association for Food Sciences & Technology (IAFST).
