 Biography

I was born on August 07, 1971 in Albania, a small country located in southwestern Balkan peninsula. I did the high school in oil and gas production and was graduated as a petroleum Diplom Engineer in the Faculty of Geology and Mining, Polytechnic University of Tirana (FGM-PUT), on July 3rd, 1994. On 2005 I finished the MSC studies, in 2009 finished the PhD and in 2011 on the Academic Title of Associate Professor. My professional experience relates with the state-owned company Albpetrol, working as a field engineer from 1994 to 1999. Since 2001 start working as lecturer next to the Energy Resources Dept. (FGM-PUT) for Reservoir and Petroleum Engineering. Actually, I hold the position of the Head of Energy Resources Department (FGM-PUT). I have been publishing over fifty journal and conference papers in worldwide congresses, conferences and journals. My research activity is mostly related with the geothermal energy utilization in Albania. Author and co-author of six monographs and text-books in the field of oil and gas reservoir engineering, petroleum engineering and geothermal energy utilization. My expertise relates with the petroleum and oil and gas reservoirs engineering, geothermal energy and its engineering aspects, as well as in the field of environment. Since 2013 I’m the country delivery coordinator of Uniper Technologies GmbH, supporting Trans Adriatic Pipeline Project in Albania. Reviewer of 13 scientific journals.
