University/Organization: Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine
Muzafar Ahmad Rather did M.sc in Biochemistry from Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University), New Delhi, India. Mr. Rather gained his M.Phil in the field of nanotechnology (in which he focused to develop the nanoformulation of known antituberculosis drugs using the physiological polymer/s) from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar India. He finished his Ph.D from Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Srinagar, India. His research interests are focused on the search for new TB drugs from the sources which include but are not limited to natural, synthetic and semisynthetic origins. The core focus is on new chemical entities for TB drug development.
