 Biography

Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Nayik has completed his PhD in Food Technology from SLIET, Punjab, India and master’s degree in food technology from IUST Awantipora; India Dr. Nayik has published more than 34 research and review articles in International journals. He has also published 8 book chapters and 9 popular articles in Food & Beverage News (India’s First Magazine for Food & Beverage Industry). Dr Nayik has attended three international and one national conference including one in Bangkok, Thailand in 2016. He has also attended one International Workshop in Bangkok, Thailand. Dr Nayik Received “BEST PAPER AWARD” in 2nd International conference on Food Properties (ICFP-2016), held at Bangkok, Thailand. He is Recipient of International Travel Grant from Department of Science and Technology (India) and also Recipient of Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF-2013-14) from University Grant Commission, New Delhi.


Dr Nayik holds various professional and scientific committee memberships. He is currently serving as assistant editor in Food and Nutritional Journal. He is serving as editorial board member of more than 30 International Journals. He is also potential reviewer of 11 reputed International journals such as LWT-Food Science and Technology, Journal of Cereal science, International Journal of Food Properties, Journal of Food Quality, Journal of Food Processing & Preservation, Journal of Food Measurement and Characterization, Food Bioscience, Journal of Textural Studies, Cogent Food & Agriculture, Journal of Food, Agriculture and Environment and Polish Journal of Food and Nutrition sciences
