 Biography

Dr, El-Sayed El-Shafaey, BVMS, MVSC, PhD is surgeon and anesthesiologist. He is assistant professor of Veterinary Surgery, Anesthesiology and Radiology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt. In addition, Assistant Professor of veterinary surgery seconded to Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Qassim University, Saudi Arabia. He graduated from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt, and got his MVSC and PhD from the same university. He got his further postdoctoral training from Obihiro University for Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. He has over 17 national and international publications and participates in writing of the academic student books in his field. He has conducted over 40 national and international conferences/workshops in the field of his specialty. He presently, a part from veterinary surgery and anesthesiology services, is involved in pain medicine management and surgical interventions of animals. He has special interest in teaching and research activities in veterinary surgery and anesthesia divisions. He awarded the Mansoura University award for the best PhD dissertation 2014. He acts as a reviewer and part of editorial board in Archives on Veterinary Science and Technology, Open Veterinary Journal and Journal of Medicinal Plants Research. Moreover

Dr. El-Shafaey interested in human resources and act as a director of the training and rehabilitation unit of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Mansoura University from September 2013-2015.
